about

Francesco Puccioni "born genius" in Florence, Mike Francis "becomes legend" in Rome.
Since he was a teenager, Francesco has been deeply inspired by the emerging movements of North American soul, folk, blues and jazz music. From his first acoustic gestures performed on the guitar he composes songs every day with youthful playfulness and then subsequently moves into the unexplored waters of Italian disco music.
While always keeping compositional creativity and improvisation under his arm, with this slow transformation as Metropole (with Al Festa and Claudio Giusti, all still in their twenties) hewrote and performed the international disco hit "Miss Manhattan", a real proto-Italo piece!

In the spring of 1982 two evocative soul-disco songs produced by Paul & Peter Micioni were released on 12" Best Record under the name of Mike Francis, who quickly became the point of reference in the capital of experimental Italo-Disco "scene". With the brand new 12" vinyl released with the same Best Record commercial cover as 40 years ago and with the same 'red credit sticker', we finally have the juicy reissue of
"Nighttime Lady" and the more appetizing and danceable "Love Has Found", both remastered by Dom Scuteri, capable with painstaking passion of obtaining an impeccable superb sound recording, even eliminating some imperceptible defects of the original master-tape.
So a super reissue (limited edition) to listen to anywhere with your smart
phone and to dance with joy and elegance at any type of party.
